Warped Tour 2009

I head off for warped tour tomorrow with a couple of friends and I can’t wait. This will be my 4th year going. It has been sort of a tradition for me and my friends.

Microsoft creating Halo anime.

Microsoft announced a couple days ago at Comic Con 09 that they are working with 5 different anime studios for a series of short films called Halo : Legends. The series takes place in the form of seven short films from five different studios and is set to release on DVD, blu-ray and digital release sometime next year.
Bones, Casio Entertainment, Production I.G., Studio4 C, and Toei are working with director Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, and Appleseed Ex Machina.) Aramaki himself will be creating one of the short stories that focuses on the history of the Spartans. He stated that he “liked that this would be an anthology of human stories told from differnet characters’ perspectives.” The series is being overseen by 343 Industries.
Look forward to a preview of the series on Xbox Live this fall.
Saw director making Castlevania movie.

James Wan, the man behind the saw franchise, and director of “Dead Silence” and “Death Sentence” is going to be co-writing and directing Castlevania! Castlevania is an adaptation of the popular NES game that came out in the 80’s. Since then it has become a major video game series.
AT&T blocks 4chan

Rumors are going around that AT&T is blocking certain parts (particularly the random board) of 4chan from their subscribers. I would hate to be in AT&T’s place if this is true.
Shonen Sunday and a Vacation!

The new Shonen Sunday website has officially launched! I’m really excited to see legit manga sites starting to pop up here and there. Makes me think there is hope for the future of digital manga.
In other news, I’m taking a small vacation with my friend Dylan to the lake for the next couple of days. It’s going to be awesome. There will be bar-b-ques and jet ski’s! I haven’t been to the lake in a LONG time so I’m really looking forward to it.
Also, Things are finally coming to a close with the site and there will be a major update a couple of days after I get back from the lake so for those of you who check back regularly this is something for you to lok forward to.
Under Construction

There are going to be some big changes around here. The anime, manga, video game, etc news stuff is going to be switched to an entirely different site. This one is going to be more of a personal blog for things that I think are cool or just useless information about my everyday life.
I’m working on building a website from scratch for the other stuff but it should be done soon seeing as how I have the next couple of days off from work and will have nothing to do really. =\
Expect the changes to be done within the next 2 weeks.
